WitchLake sent two teams of its qualified game-makers along with Pr. Maurizio Rigamonti to the LvlUpGameJam, nicely oganized by the University of Fribourg. In 48 hours, both teams and other competitors made one game each. Flap Flap Flap is a game played with Kinect in which you have to flap your wings by flapping your arms and go sideways by tilting your body in order to make a seagull and a pterodactyl avoid obstacles on two different screens. Into Limbo, our second team's project is a cooperative Kinect game where Dante has to go through the seven circles of hell and God is helping him by empowering his attacks with a yellow or a red energy depending on the enemies Dante is facing.
There were two categories: amateur and professional. Obviously, we were part of the latter and we are proud to announce that Into Limbo won three awards ! Best Game, Best Gameplay, and Best Art.
